The Gay Storm!

I had to do it.

This is a parody of the National Organization for Marriage TV add. If you haven't seen it, check it out.

For the record: I'm a Bible-believing Christian and see no reason to tell my gay friends that they have to change...well, things they just can't change. If you believe the Bible tells you differently, that is totally your right. But leave everyone else alone. There are much better things for you to be fighting for (as I hope the cartoon makes clear).

If you're a follower of Jesus and want to protect marriage, then follow Jesus' only remarks on the subject and just stay married to your current spouse! You're not required to save anyone else's marriage--just your own.

Intro to Matthew

It's Monday!  Here's the Intro to Matthew in four parts:

Again, make sure you click on each one to make the tiny words legible.

Another thing:  My friend Chrisam reminded me on facebook that in high school I was trying to do a stick figure version of Star Wars.  Maybe I'll take up that idea again.  But right now I have too much homewor
k that doesn't involve stick figures!

(Ok, a little of it does.)

Well...here we go!

Guys.

I've been taking seminary classes for the past year. By far the most exciting assignments I've done have been the New Testament intros. My prof wasn't specific enough in what he wanted in the two page assignments, so I made two pages of stick figure comics.

I realized today while finishing up yet another stick figure intro (I'm just a few books shy of the entire New Testament) that I am really passionate about drawing these things! Some are moved by making music, others paint, I apparently excel at drawing stick figures. It is my lot in life.

So...I decided to start this blog! I'm thinking of updating on mondays and thursdays. I'll post my intros for awhile, then maybe some new stuff. I'm thinking of doing a regular "gag" strip...and maybe a stick figure version of the Gospel of Mark. Yeah, I am that crazy.

To start us off, my first ever stick figure intro! Enjoy:

(You'll have to click on them to make them bigger. If I can figure out how to make them readable here on the blog I'll do it.)
